Alexie Art
I was reminded today of the beauty and "freedom of process" the preschematic stage of artistic development brings. As Alex shared her impressive knowledge of the solar system, she represented the sun and each planet joyfully, with little concern for realism. The process of mixing colors and swirling the brush in the paint was satisfying. Exploring different materials was exciting. Being mindful of enjoying the moment and not overly concerned about outcome was was a great state of being. Alex modeled that for me today.
